What does the price include?The rental of the venue for the rehearsal, the wedding ceremony and reception, resin chairs, tables, as well as table linens and napkins. Set up and tear down of the venue, is included in the price and the use of a podium, arbor, as well as an indoor space with refrigerators for caterers to use. Clients are able to hold a rehearsal any unbooked evening leading up to the wedding date for an hour duration, depending on your package.

What is not included in the price?Vendors such as a caterer, florist, decorator and any other vendor the client chooses to use will need to be outsourced. If the caterer does not include dishes, it will be the responsibility of the couple. Insurance coverage for a minimum of $5,000,000

What else can Ferguson Estates offer?Rental of the venue on the day prior to the wedding is available for 6 hours between 12pm & 7pm, if you choose to do a full rehearsal or would like to set up anything that day. Ferguson Estates can offer clients the option of having up to 8 trailers parked overnight on the evening of your wedding for any guests wanting to stay there. What is the capacity?149 guests, up to 299 guests with additional conditions.

How do I book my wedding or event at Ferguson Estates?In order to confirm your date, we require clients to sign a contract and pay a non-refundable deposit at the time of signing. Please email weddings@fergusonestates.ca or events@fergusonestates.ca to set up a date and time.

Can I put a date on hold?You may put a 2 weeks temporary hold on a date that does not currently have a booking. If during those 2 weeks anyone else would like to book that date, you will be given a week’s notice. After the 2 week temporary hold or a week’s notice from interest of another couple, if no contract is signed and the deposit isn’t paid, the date will be automatically released.

What bar service is offered?Ferguson Estates holds an active liquor license and we supply the alcohol, the mix, cups and all supplies to make the drinks. Guests are able to do either an open bar or a cash bar. Within the open bar, you are able to offer your guests a toonie bar, or a ticket bar as well. Clients are able to bring in their own wine, as long as it was made by the couple or someone in relation to the couple for the purpose of the wedding. This wine cannot be sold.

Decorations at Ferguson Estates?We do require that no nails, screws or tape be used in any way that will damage the property. No open flame is permitted inside the premise.

When do I make payments?The deposit is required at time of booking to confirm your date. Remaining payments will be made at set dates as decided upon by Ferguson Estates Ltd. and which will be laid out in your contract. The final payment is due 2 weeks before the wedding. A credit card must be supplied 2 weeks before the wedding and will be kept on file for any damages.

Anything else to note?Please make sure to arrange a time and date for any visits to the venue regarding events. All vendors can arrange a time with Ferguson Estates directly to drop off and pick up items. Access to the venue begins at 8am on the day of the event and ends at 1am. An itinerary, list of vendors being used, and a floor plan must be provided 10 days before the wedding.
